BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"Major Gen. Paul Eaton, who has a son on duty in the Middle East, told the New Yorker's Jane Mayer that "torture is the tool of the lazy, the stupid and the pseudo-tough." You can say that again!!! And we all know the Repuglicans support Bush's "torture" tactics!!! Of course we know that particular tactic was born of stupidity, afterall it was George Bush who came up with "enhanced interrogation techniques" which in the end is Repuglican speak for TORTURE! And that "pseudo-tough" observation supports the truth of "chicken-hawk" Repuglicans!!!

The further the Repuglicans go the behinder they get!!! We can see how much the Repuglican Party has deteriorated when we see a Repuglican Congressman rush in to support radio "entertainer" Rush Limbaugh's political harangue! America is in more trouble than I thought if indeed Rush Limbaugh's political "voice" is "cherished"!!! "PENCE: ... I think Rush Limbaugh - who I admire ... I cherish his voice in the public debate ..." Repuglicans are getting crazier and crazier!!!

It's going to take more than "campaign experience" to turn Sarah Palin into a viable candidate for President! The "I'm one of the guys, I'm one of the gals, I'm just like you" ploy won't fly after 8 years of Bush's incompetence, and ineffective stupidity! All you have to do is listen to just one of Palin's spontaneous, unscripted discourses on the issues and you'll realize this woman is trying her best to sound intellectual and just can't quite make the grade! She is a George Bush clone complete with "lipstick"!

"ProPublica.org poked a hole in Cantor's facade of moral superiority. The investigative news Web site revealed that Cantor's wife works for a bank that received $267 million from the first half of the bailout funds." Now that Eric Cantor has made sure his wife will continue to get her salary, he wants to take a stand on all the poor people who don't have influential husbands in high places! Like all Repuglicans, Cantor is a hypocrite, an opportunist, a schmuck, a poor excuse for decency in the United States Government! He has no integrity, no credibility, he is afterall a Repuglican!!!

"President Obama blasted Wall Street executives for paying out big bonuses...the president today expressing outrage that banking executives gave themselves nearly $20 billion in bonuses last year, at the same time they were asking the government for billions to bail them out...Wall Street's bonus pool for 2008 is the sixth biggest on record. Mr. Obama had one word for that, ‘shameful.'" And I would add, there's a whole lot of Repuglican SHAME to go around; SHAME on the Repuglicans for putting "Party Power" above the well being of America and the American people, by voting one and all in the House of Representatives against the stimulus package!!

"Bipartisanship" in Washington, D.C.---HA! The Repuglicans don't give a rat's behind about "bipartisanship" or doing what's best for America! It just goes to prove the Repuglicans do not, I repeat do not care about America or the American people! "... former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell's recent claim that Obama's stimulus plan ‘could create a major electoral advantage for Democrats at taxpayer expense.' ‘Creating 600,000 new jobs might help cement Virginia in the Democrat column, making it harder for Republicans to retake the White House,' said Blackwell." Repuglicans only care about winning and power over the people! The question becomes, exactly what the hell will they win if they bankrupt America with their foolishness! Don't forget for one minute, it was Repuglican policies and Repuglican support that created the catastrophic economic disaster, along with a whole bunch of the other disasters we find ourselves in today!
