Joe, Joe, Joe, the more we get to know you the more we don't like you! An award that Joe the Judas really deserves -- "GOP HYPOCRITE," and that's being courteous! Polite conversation limits the use of the number of four letter words I could use to describe Joe Lieberman! He is indeed an "opportunist," strictly out for himself, we will never forget what he's done while pretending to be the voice of conscience!!!! He is indeed a charlatan and a fraud, a scoundrel and a cad! Joe Lieberman is the ultimate example of a Washington, D.C. politician!

To all those who want satisfaction yesterday, I say -- We Americans have grown so used to an erratic, impulsive "bring it on," "wanted dead or alive," "Mission accomplished," "instant gratification" way of life, that when an intelligent, methodical, disciplined thinker comes along we don't quite know how to handle it! We don't have the patience to understand how the results of a systematic, logical Obama approach to governance will benefit us far more than the reckless, madcap, instantaneous Bush response we've endured for the past 8 years! It's time to take a step back, and give Barack Obama a chance to govern his way. After all, this is the man who didn't have an ice cube's chance in hell to survive the primaries much less win the Democratic nomination for President of the United States of America! And WIN HE DID, now we need to support him in his efforts, our very lives depend on it!!!!

My "hero," Russ Feingold, an observant, insightful man who is always accurate when he stands before us to offer some wisdom and advice to his fellow politicians and to the American people! "If President Bush cares about his place in history, he should think twice before issuing pardons that call his judgment, and the integrity of the rule of law, into question."

Well, now, on occasion, be it a "Freudian" or an "in your face" opinion, George Bush does offer up what he really thinks of himself! Yes, it's good "to be the king." For him, maybe, but it's been pure hell for the rest of us!!!

When the going gets tough, the crazies come out of the woodwork, quite literally!!! "'If a retailer has not gotten involved with this, if he has not spent money on this election, if he has not sent money to Norm Coleman and these other guys,' Mr. Marcus said, apparently referring to Republican senators facing tough re-election fights, then those retailers 'should be shot; should be thrown out of their goddamn jobs.'" This ends any trips or purchases I planned to make at Home Depot!!!

Without a doubt, this is one of the most accurate, most insightful analyses ever written regarding the myth of a "liberal" media and what mainstream corporate media really is in today's world! Gene Lyons knows what he's writing about: "One of the Republican right's most successful inventions has been liberal media bias ... In reality, the Washington political media have been functionally pro-Republican for years. The so-called Gang of 500 long ago abandoned journalistic ethics for those of the entertainment industry. They're celebrities, and as such would-be insiders and front-runners. Liberal media? During the Clinton administration, this cohort flogged the make-believe Whitewater scandal for years. They went hysterical over Bill Clinton's sexual sins and sustained false derogatory stories about Al Gore during the 2000 election (invented the Internet, "Love Story," etc. ). After that, the nation's premier newspapers, specifically The New York Times and The Washington Post, got suckered into running single-source, frontpage propaganda about Saddam Hussein's nonexistent weapons of mass destruction. The embedded mainstream media treated the subsequent invasion of Iraq as the world's biggest Boy Scout jamboree until chaos in Baghdad became impossible to ignore."
