What’s that they say, one man’s pork, is another man’s dinner!  At least “earmarks” provide some benefit for the American people, by providing jobs, and/or infrastructure and cultural improvements!  Whereas some men, just plain steal from the American taxpayer: “MONTEREY -- An Arizona businessman, with help from Sen. John McCain's office, paid the federal government a mere fraction of the market value when he bought a Fort Ord land parcel in 1999, an Army appraisal obtained by The Monterey Herald shows. Donald R. Diamond, an 80-year-old real estate developer, lobbyist and top fundraiser for McCain's presidential campaign, bought the land for $250,000, though it was valued at $7.2 million, according to Pentagon appraisals made three years before the sale. He held on to the parcel for a little more than two years before selling it and the buildings on it for an estimated profit of more than $18 million.”

Every citizen in this country has a right to voice his opinion, and Representative John Lewis has more than earned that right!  His assessment of the rhetoric coming from the McCain/Palin campaign was absolutely correct, and it was about time someone spoke out against the horror of the “seeds of hatred and division.” It was about time to put a stop to the “divisive speech” coming from McCain and Palin!  Thank you, John Lewis, for having the courage to again take a stand against the underlying hate and bigotry of some people in these United States of America!!!

"'Deficits don’t matter,' said Dick Cheney …" I guess not, especially when they go to growing your personal wealth Dick!  Under the cloak of fear, no bid contracts, cash money in bags being given away without any accountability whatsoever, how better can one get richer than dirt!  The Repuglicans, especially these Bush/Cheney Repuglicans have sold the American people a bill of goods, called snake oil, like never before in the history of this country! "Money for Nothing -- Billions of dollars have disappeared, gone to bribe Iraqis and line contractors’ pockets." When will people realize by hook or crook “trickle down” really means a straight stream into some Repuglican’s bank account!!! It’s way past time for a change, just say NO to McSame McCain!!!!

To all those Americans who voted for George Bush; has he ever invited you to have a beer with him???  To all those who would vote for Sarah Palin because she seems to be one of you, just remember -- “Sarah Palin is substantially dumber, bizarrely crazier, and dangerously and arrogantly less aware of her own shortcomings” than George Bush!

Sarah Palin, just another Repuglican bully, worse than the last Repuglican bully, who will retaliate and intimidate any and all who don’t agree with her!  She isn’t assertive; she isn’t even spunky; she uses her husband to do her dirty work for her!!!  Sarah Palin is NOT qualified for Vice President and or President!

And while our 401Ks were going to hell in a hand basket, the Bushies slipped another one under the wire: "... the Justice Department released a nearly 400-page scalding indictment of the administration over the controversial firings of several U.S. attorneys in 2006."  Republicanism has infiltrated every corner of our government and Republicanism has compromised and corrupted our democracy!

Sarah Palin, again shamefully exploiting her children for political gain!  “‘Hockey Mom’ Palin, flanked by daughters Willow and Piper, met a mixed reception as she stepped onto the ice at the Wachovia Center. ‘I've been warned that Flyers fans, they get so enthused, that they boo everybody at the drop of the puck,’ Palin said at a Saturday fundraiser. ‘But what I thought I'd do is I'd put Piper in a Flyers jersey, bring her out with me. How dare they boo Piper!’"
