BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

Like stink on a pile, the 24/7 mainstream corporate media so-called “news” channels jumped on the John Edwards story with all the excitement and exuberance of voyeurs at a pornographic peep show! It was the “breaking news” story from noon on, on Friday and then continued through the weekend broadcasting and now this morning hinting at “not reporting” the story until Edwards confessed, as if to absolve their glee over a man’s admission to the imperfection of being human! It gives pause and wonder, if indeed one man's indiscretion helps to justify other men’s sins???

And I thought the “Olympics” was supposed to be “apolitical,” foolish me! The 2008 Olympics will be remembered as another George Bush “photo-op” opportunity! Beginning to end, from hamming it up with Team USA, to political speeches, to program interruptions for an interview with George W. Bush, he’s been seen everywhere! Leave it to Bush to “muck” up and muddy up what had heretofore been about athletic competition without the political baggage, of an incompetent, unpopular, illegal, preemptive unnecessary wartime president!

Meanwhile back in the real world, the TRUTH marches on, even though 24/7 mainstream corporate media has all but ignored “The Way of the World” story that affects us all! A story of treasonous acts, and impeachable offenses, a story that indeed every American should be aware of! Mr. Suskind must release all the tapes! In today’s world, the reality is, his very survival could depend on it!!!

“John McCain's Campaign: More Anti-Obama than Pro-McCain.” But of course the McCain campaign is all anti-Obama, after all there isn’t much pro-McCain that can be said! Certainly they could say McCain would be the oldest president ever to be elected, that he can’t remember the daily “talking points” he’s been given, that he has to read, with difficulty, every word that’s written for him to say, that he’s a war-monger with a bad temper, that he hasn’t done a whole lot for the American people in the 23 years he’s served in the Senate, that he divorced a disabled first wife to marry a very rich, much younger trophy wife, that he collaborated with and hugged and embraced the man who trashed his reputation and even worse the reputation of his family in 2000, that he’s boring and uninspiring, and on and on, but then that would be the truth, and the truth won’t do much for John McCain!
