The McCains are more like the Bushes than first imagined!!! “In yet another bizarre development in the saga of CMKM Diamonds, better known as CMKX, one of the largest financial frauds in history, Andrew McCain, the son of presumptive Republican presidential candidate John McCain, resigned from the Board of Directors of Henderson, Nevada based Silver State Bank, the bank where hundreds of millions of dollars was deposited as it was stolen from CMKX shareholders ... the inevitable comparison to his father’s involvement twenty years ago in the infamous “Keating 5” savings and loan scandal, where federal regulators seized Lincoln Savings and Loan Association of Irvine, California. The senior McCain was rebuked by the Senate Ethics Commission, who concluded that he and four other senators had tried to hold off a government investigation into the savings and loan’s risky real estate deals. Lincoln’s chairman at the time was Charles Keating, who was not only one of McCain’s top donors, but was a business partner with Cindy McCain. But the younger McCain, who had only been with Silver State Bank for a little over four months after Choice Bank, where McCain was director, was taken over by Silver State, might have to answer questions of his own. Silver State Bank has its own history of problems, and it appears that Andrew McCain either ignored the bank’s past woes, or didn’t properly research the company before joining the Board of Directors,” and on and on and on!

When one is promoting a particular image and claiming the knowledge of how to win a war, sometimes it pays to do some research on “the Google”! Sometimes it can reveal the opinions and the questions of one “war hero” to another “war hero”! “DEFENDING AMERICA, BY DAVID H. HACKWORTH---ARE McCAIN'S HANDLERS PLAYING THE WRONG CARD?”

Any recollection of previous press conferences presided over by “White House Press Secretaries” have been the usual transference of the “President’s” conclusions on any given subject, but since the arrival of Dana Perino, it has become a “We disagree ...” or a “We want ...” and always a “We” ... blah, blah, blah, as though WE really care what HER opinion is or is not!!!!

“Bush operative crashed Barney Frank's Press Conference: Why?” Hmm, “methinks thou doth protest too much”!!! Consider for a moment, just who are the real losers in this “pot” fight! Would it be the patients using medical marijuana and obtaining it legally or better yet would it be those who sell an illegal drug on the streets! Would the use and cultivation of legal marijuana, for medical or even for personal use, cut into the profits gained from selling the illicit drug! The profits from selling illegal drugs are gargantuan, and any alteration of the illegality would most certainly diminish current returns, so in the end, one has to wonder just who stands to gain and why would they so doggedly want to continue America’s war on drugs????

The next time any one of the Bush administration or the Repuglican Party comes out and claims to be a Patriot, claims to care about our sons and daughters, about “the troops”; just remember, that behind closed doors these guys don’t give a damn about “country” and/or “our sons and daughters, the troops” when it comes to starting illegal preemptive unnecessary wars! “Might cost some lives … a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war” will forever ring Bush/Cheney/Repuglican throughout America!!! It’s terrifying to even think what the other “ideas proffered” could be!

“EXCLUSIVE: To Provoke War, Cheney Considered Proposal To Dress Up Navy Seals As Iranians And Shoot At Them” The mere fact that this is the kind of discussion that went on behind closed doors in the Office of the Vice President of the United States of America certainly lends credence to any, every, and all the “conspiracy theories” out there!!! To know that the highest offices in American government would even think about such horror, such terror, and discuss it, is to know these guys are capable of actually doing whatever they think it takes to accomplish their diabolical goals! The next time any Repuglican has the audacity, actually the mendacity to say “we are the party of values, of ethics,” of whatever the hell else, I’ll say BULLSH*T! What was being so cavalierly discussed and what stands out, “Might cost some lives … a dozen ideas proffered about how to trigger a war.” “How to trigger a war”??? My God what have we allowed America to become??? I look at my country and wonder, just exactly WHO is the enemy!!!

Well, now, neigh on to 7 years later, and just before George Bush is shown the door, the Feds have finally gotten their man! “A top U.S. biodefense researcher apparently committed suicide just as the Justice Department was about to file criminal charges against him in the anthrax mailings that traumatized the nation in the weeks following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, according to a published report. The scientist, Bruce E. Ivins, 62, who worked for the past 18 years at the government's biodefense labs at Fort Detrick, Maryland, had been told about the impending prosecution,” How convenient for all concerned, the “home-grown” terrorist has committed suicide and now we’ll never know who, what, when, or why was anyone else in on it!

Yesterday, CNN rolled out their latest “attention grabbing” info-tainment intro!!! “As part of our on going effort to help you make an informed choice in the election, we are playing more of what the candidates are saying in their own words on the campaign trail.” Kinda sorta sounds “fair and balanced” except for the fact that CNN picks and chooses which snippets of “their own words” to play over and over again giving you what CNN wants you to hear! The really funny part of this whole charade is; on the right we have John McCain “in his own words” intently laboring over having to read each and every word written down for him on notes or the teleprompter, which somehow negates that whole “in his own words” thing and makes him look more and more the buffoon! In comparison, on the left we have Barack Obama, in “his own words” actually having a conversation with his audience no matter what verbal content CNN chooses to air, which in the end only goes to show that sometimes presentation and style is as convincing as content!
