It's a sad state of affairs that the Repuglicans in the United States of America value Party affiliation over loyalty to their country! Spineless cowards, and the chickenhawks that they are, not a one, nary a soul will come forward to do what is just and honorable. They will not call for or support IMPEACHMENT, no matter how many laws Bush/Cheney have violated! Values, Ethics, Morals, Important??? HA!!! Power and greed are the driving force and the underlying principles of today's Repuglicans! Theirs is an ideology based on fraud and corruption, their wants needs and desires are to rule not to govern. From Supreme Court Justices right on down to Senators, Representatives, and Governors, the Repuglicans are hell-bent on destroying freedom and democracy in America! Many thanks and much gratitude goes out to George McGovern - Democrat for having the courage to come forward and speak the truth!

I must say it gives me great pleasure to observe the Repuglican infighting these days -- it is pure joy and a delight to watch conservative against conservative! Somehow seeing the attacks leveled at each other is the closest thing to cloud nine for me! The only regret is knowing all the vehemence, all the slurs, all the smear, and violent attacks will be aimed at the Democratic nominee in the near future, because one thing these "family values" guys don't want to lose is Repuglican Party political power!

I cannot emphasize or talk about this enough! If you really want a glimpse at what kind of world we'll have if Repuglican privatization is allowed to continue -- have a look at what privatization did for health care in these United States! Essentially we have the most expensive form of universal health care to be found anywhere in the world and we're paying dearly for it! Think about the premiums you are paying for a limited to the "network" group of Drs. and hospitals! Think about the fact that any procedure you need must be "approved" by your HMO, PPO, and or Medicare! It stinks, your Dr. visits are timed, your premiums are gargantuan, your co-pays are exorbitant, your health is compromised, all the while your taxes are being spent to "offset" the cost to the insurance companies, the HMOs, and the pharmaceutical companies. In other words you're paying three times for the limited health care you receive, once in premiums, once in co-pays, and once again in taxes!!!

Another brick in the building blocks of Fascism -- Shame on you, Jane Harman Democratic Congresswoman from California, shame on you, Susan Collins, Repuglican Senator from Maine! “... the House passed a bill … that overturns the constitutionally guaranteed rights to free expression, association, and assembly. The bill passed the House on a vote of 404-6. In the Senate the bill … apparently faces no meaningful opposition. Harman’s bill is called the ‘Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act.’ [www.govtrack.us/congress/bill...] When HR 1955 becomes law, it will create a commission tasked with identifying extremist people, groups, and ideas. The commission will hold hearings around the country, taking testimony and compiling a list of dangerous people and beliefs. The bill will … create massive terrorism in the United States. But the perpetrators of terrorism will not be Muslim terrorists; they will be government agents and fellow citizens. We are beginning to see who will be the inmates of the detention centers being built in the US by Halliburton under government contract. ... This bill is a boon for nasty people.” And we know how many “nasty” people exist in these United States today! (How apropos that this bill is entitled 1955, it is representative of the era when McCarthyism stained the fabric of democracy in these United States.)

After watching both the Democratic and the Repuglican ABC Presidential Debates I will vote for whoever wins the Democratic nomination over the Repuglican nominee! Each and every Democrat running for President is a far better candidate than all the Repuglicans combined. What I saw in the Democrats was leadership and statesmanship, a willingness and a desire to work for the people of these United States! The Repuglicans presented nothing more than the sniping, griping, and gobbledygook that has been their modus operandi for far too long!
