Remembering the victims of 9-11 and their families, on this day, 6 years later!

"Evidence that Bin Laden is still directing al-Qai'da operations, despite the best efforts of the US military and a $50m (£25m) price on his head, will be a blow to President George Bush who staked his reputation on winning the 'war on terror.'" Another "blow" for George Bush and the Repuglicans, has got to be that money does not buy everything!

George Bush’s retirement plan includes “running a ‘fantastic Freedom Institute’ to spread democracy around the world” or so he says!  It would be better for the world if he would quit screwing with “freedom and democracy” here at home!

“Hiding Behind the General.” General Scapegoat can now be added to that General “Betray Us” title. If nothing else, George Bush does know how to cover his butt!  Bush always makes sure there’s someone else in place to take the blame just in case everything goes down that proverbial road to hell!

Some “justification” for calling David Petraeus, “General Betray Us”,,that the Repuglicans and mainstream corporate media just happened to miss!  “General David Petraeus, the top US commander in Iraq, told Congress Monday that the military objectives of the troop surge were largely being met.”  Yeah, sure tell me another just like the other: “… nine months after he left, the insurgents captured Mosul; the police appointed by Petraeus fled or changed sides, and $41m worth of weapons were lost.  In the same year Petraeus was given the crucial job of overseeing the training and expansion of Iraq's new army, and again he produced glowing reports of progress. But three years later the army he was charged with turning into an effective fighting force is notoriously incapable and corrupt. In addition, Petraeus failed to observe that almost the entire Iraqi procurement budget of $1.2bn was being embezzled, and Iraqi soldiers were forced to rely on obsolete and inadequate weaponry.” objectives of the troop surge were

Any testimony delivered before a Congressional Committee would be more believable if indeed it was delivered under oath to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!  Having heard the White House was writing the Petraeus report, and then hearing the not under oath General say, “I wrote this report,” leaves us with the question as to just who is telling the lies this time around!

For anyone who may still give the office of the presidency the benefit of a doubt, BEWARE!  The guys occupying the White House today are out to rule the world, for them the end justifies the means to include whatever it takes, as evidenced by: “Addington remarked, “We’re one bomb away from getting rid of that obnoxious [FISA] court …” To forget terrorism comes in many forms is foolish and dangerous!

It occurred to me the radical right was desperately looking for some way to disprove the fact that they’re all a bunch of morons, so they came up with the term, “intelligent design,” but then there’s always that throwback in the evolutionary cycle popping up in the most unusual of places that proves Darwin’s Theory of Evolution!  Speaking of throwbacks it goes without saying just who that could be, and of course there’s that place we’d least expect to find him, in the Presidency of the United States of America!

The Iraqi people are literally living the same horror that was America’s 9-11 each and every day since George Bush launched his illegal unnecessary preemptive war in Iraq!  And sadly, some here in the U.S. forget, none of the Iraqis, not a single solitary one had anything to do with America’s 9-11!

It takes a colossal amount of hubris and a despicable kind of arrogance for the man to stand on the White House lawn with his head bowed in remembrance of 9-11, after having ignored an August the 6th PDB forewarning, “Osama determined to strike within the U.S.”

The Repuglicans give you the latest smoke and mirrors, sturm und drang specifically designed to confuse and bambozzle the American public; “ethno-sectarian violence” and ethno-sectarian competition”!  In plain English, a CIVIL WAR in IRAQ!
