Tony Bradley: MSM slow to reveal truth about Sarah Palin

Why is the mainstream press not even talking about things such as the protest that greeted Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in Philadelphia when she was trying to hide from the debate?
Or the anti-Palin rally in Alaska. Much has been made of her 80% approval and tremendous support in Alaska, but that was before McCain took over the Alaskan government and Palin became Bush/Cheney in lipstick.
Even conservatives in the media and blogosphere have come to their senses after her Couric interview (it is bad when SNL decides that your interview was so funny that they'll just quote it verbatim instead of trying to write something funnier), and have started to wonder if she might be doing herself, her party, her state, and not the least - her country a favor by resigning her nomination.
I realize you need to be balanced and not just attack Palin for the sake of sensational headlines, but I don't think the mainstream media understands their responsibilities or obligations to the people, and they don't seem to know how to be balanced. Balance does not mean ignoring real stories or real facts just because they are not flattering. Balance does not mean trying to portray both sides as equals when they're not. It just means that you do the same digging, the same types of research, and report the results evenly without bias. Ignoring stories and facts to appear "balanced" is the exact opposite of balanced because it introduces bias.
