Subject: Shocking Upset in Tonight's Game

I am sitting here at 1:15 AM, in complete shock by the results of tonight's game. It now appears that the #2 seeded Decider has been defeated in his attempt to reach the Fallen Four. I sincerely believed that he would have no trouble defeating the #5 seeded Federalist Four.

Oh sure, the whole world knows how they overturned the will of the voters and appointed him to the throne, but that was only one crime. Just look at all of the corruption, incompetence, deception, and illegal unconstitutional acts that he was responsible for in the eight gloomy years that followed. I was so confident that he would make it to the Fallen Four. There must be some way that we can electronically get these vote totals switched.

Let's see, what did I do with that phone number for Diebold......or whatever they're calling themselves now???

Oh, and by the way, it is a complete outrage that Sean Hannity didn't get invited to the Sour Sixteen. How humiliating that he had to accept an invitation to the NITWIT tournament instead! C'mon guys, he's got his own show on Fake News. Mistress Ann is merely an occasional guest. Rush will jump all over her.....uh, I mean, he's going to win easily!

Shocker, The Supreme Court Felonious Four Knock George W. Bush Out of BuzzFlash Republican Race to the Bottom Contest: 53% to 47%! Thursday's Elimination Round Match-up: Rush Limbaugh Vs (M)Ann Coulter! It's the Ongoing BuzzFlash March Madness Race to the Bottom Tournament. Subject: Quiverfull

I just finished your interview with Kathryn Joyce about the Quiverfulls. Excellent. You briefly mentioned Sarah Palin. But what was scary was the influence of her husband Todd:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/14/us/politics/14todd.html

This was referenced during the campaign, but not associated with this Quiverfull movement in the MSM. They seem to practice this to its fullest, don't you think? Websites brought this up during the campaign. Very frightening to think this woman had a chance to be VP. And Todd to be the male power.

Subject: Notre Dame and Obama

Greetings -

It has been reported again today that yet another prominent Catholic Cardinal has come out against President Barack Obama giving the graduating Commencement Address at Notre Dame later this year. No disrespect to any people of the Catholic faith (for whom I have tremendous respect) but this hypocritical feigned outrage is getting out of hand.

These people are such hypocrites! Where was all of this embarrassment and outrage when Catholic priests and bishops were basically molesting little boys for years from the Catholic church? I'm hearing more public outrage from them on this issue than I ever heard from any of them throughout that entire scandal. These "men of God" constantly and blindly defended people who were little more than serial child molesters and yet they are "outraged" and “embarrassed” at an invitation for a sitting President to give a commencement address at Notre Dame.

This is not a political issue and I regret that some are trying to make it into one. Barack Obama is the President of the United States as well as a history maker as the very first African-American President. Needless to say that his presence is more than appropriate at any commencement service and those who think otherwise have other agendas at play besides what is in the very best interest of the school. These people are an embarrassment to us all and I think it is we who should be outraged...at them!

Subject: Who's Responsible For The Have-Nots & Left-Outs

"They themselves."

"Based on?"

"For whatever reason(s) they don't have what it takes."

"What's it take?"

"Smarts, diligence, hard work."

"Not luck?"

"Overrated."

"And the Haves, what's their responsibility?"

"None."

"Why not?"

"In the race to the top, everyone's on his or her own."

"No helping hand?"

"That's up to the individual."

"And the government's role?"

"Not to interfere with the workings of the free market."

"Otherwise?"

"Mob rule."

"Anything else?"

"In God we trust."

Subject: I just put your url on Twitter

Sorry you folks are having a hard time raising money. I am on Twitter and just suggested BuzzFlash.com as an antidote to the Drudge-ry Report. Hope you get some new followers and thanks for all you do. Pretty low on dough in my household but getting by so long as I add nothing to credit cards. Will try to purchase a BuzzFlash premium as birthday gifts for family members as birthdays arise.

Subject: Limbaugh = "Snot Nose"

I wish one of these sites could pick up on a thing I have noticed with Limbaugh and it is disgusting. The bum has a habit of sniffing up snot while he is on one of his rampages. Every time I hear it I email him and let him know that he was having a pretty snotty day and refer to him as "snot nose". Be great to get some of these sites to keep calling him that. He wouldn't like it a bit.

Subject: War-Maker General David Petraeus Says Israel Might Attack Iran & Israel's Prime Minister Says So, Too

"Even though U.S. Intelligence has stated that Iran isn't attempting to build a nuke?"

"And without a go ahead from the U.S. would Israel dare to attack Iran?"

"What, and risk losing U.S. support?"

"Then what's General Petraeus up to with his statement that Israel might attack Iran?"

"Same as with all of Israel's actions against its neighbors, pretending that the settler-state is a sovereign nation and, as such, decides for itself what to do in matters of war and peace."

"As if the U.S. government didn't know well in advance & hadn't given the green light to, among other aggressions against its neighbors, the 1982 & 2006 Israel invasions of Lebanon, not to mention the recent IDF assault on Gaza?"

"But a U.S. backed Israeli attack upon Iran could lead to a worldwide conflagration."

"What'll stop Israel from bombing Iran?"

"Only one thing."

"Which is?"

"President Obama's just saying no."

"Based on?"

"A half-century ago when President Dwight Eisenhower told Israel (& its Anglo-French allies) to cease and desist in their attempt to retake the Suez Canal, and, lickety-split, the invading military alliance pulled out of Egypt."

"Anything else?"

"Yes we can."

Subject: Rushbo

LA Times columnist Andrew Klavan always felt that Rush Limbaugh was getting a bad deal. Yes, he’s opinionated, but not vulgar. He’s just a bit brash, but some people respect Rush for that. In fact, Republican leaders who criticize Limbaugh are quick to apologize (see http://www.dccc.org/content/sorry).

So today in the LA Times, Mr. Klavin dared people to listen to Rush Limbaugh’s show and find one instance of Rush saying a “single racist, hateful or stupid word.” Go ahead and listen, he ranted. I dare you.

Many people did listen, and here’s what they heard:, a warning from Limbaugh that if the British Prime Minister keeps "slobbering" over President Obama, he'll "come down with anal poisoning and may die from it." Here’s the audio clip of Mr. Limbaugh’s comments:

Early last month the President’s Chief of Staff said that Limbaugh was the voice and intellectual force of the Republican party. Was he exaggerating? Follow the links before and see for yourself.

Subject: Immigrants' May First marches

Your headline "In what has become an annual rite of Spring, immigrant advocates announced plans today for another march through downtown Chicago on May 1 to push for federal reforms on behalf of those in the country illegally" reflects a sad state of unawareness, if not to say ignorance, about the extreme duress that immigrant communities are suffering under. Raids on family homes where parents are handcuffed and taken away in front of their children in early morning hours, raids on factories where workers are treated like terrorists (and the ICE police hail the "success" of arresting seamstresses as if they had caught Osama bin Laden), hate propaganda spewed from major media outlets like Fox and CNN, hate crimes perpetrated throughout the country by white Americans: these policies were begun under Bush and continue today.

Not to mention detention for months and years without legal redress, in concentration-camp like "detention centers", for-profit camps whose guards act as if they are in Guantanamo. Not to mention millions of small children who are American citizens, whose parents were deported.

All this is happening to people who have not committed any crimes, who are not even suspected of any crimes. The offense they have committed is living and working in the US without a visa.

They are here because US policies - NAFTA big among them - destroyed their livelihoods in their home countries and they need to feed their children.

A march in public of undocumented immigrants, who are the canary in the coal mine for how anyone the people in power don't like can be treated - is not a "rite of spring." It is an act of great courage - so great that in the last few years no one has dared to march.

Please talk to some undocumented people to cure yourself of the sad and dangerous ignorance revealed in the headline you gave to this piece of news. Your use of the word "illegal" as an adjective describing a human being is a good place to start your thought process.

[BuzzFlash Note: The words "rite of spring" may have set the wrong tone, although why shouldn't the annual demand for human rights be equated with the annual renewal that the natural world undergoes? (The "rite of spring" wording came out of the story we linked to.) As for calling people "illegal," we did not. We agree with you that such wording is dehumanizing and should not be adopted. However, it is a fact that foreign workers are in this country "illegally" if INS hasn't granted them permission to be here.]

Subject: GnOP Budget

Last week we were treated to the uproarious spectacle of Boehner of Boehner, Cantor and Pence rolling out the GnOP Budget that wasn't a budget. When asked why there were no facts or figures in it, Boehner said details would follow this week.

Now, on April Fool's Day (no less), Ryan appears on one of the morning shows and says that last week's document that Boehner specifically referred to as a budget was actually a "marketing" document.

WTH? Is this how they think of this country? Nothing more than a product to be marketed? No wonder they're falling apart. They don't think of themselves as representing their country but rather as salesmen of failed ideas that nearly destroyed the country. Now they are trying desperately trying to regain their perch at the top of the heap.

It's not working.
