Somehow a former CIA front organization, which helped Afghanistan against the russians, turns against US because Bush I stages the Army in Mecca and Medina, the two holiest places in Islam. Then, After 9/11, Bush II removes said troops. But Clinton is the coward? Democracy in America is dead, thanks to Diebold and feckless Democrats. No truth will see the light of day as long as the gutless, corporatized Democrats are still in office. There is no 'loyal opposition'. Alito's presence on the Supreme Court is proof. And just like the Kennedy Assassination, nothing useful will be done. Beating up on BUZZFLASH won't do any good. Taking to the streets (remember that?) was how the issues were resolved 40 years ago. But today, no one is willing to close their browser window and do shit about their lot in life. Post a blog, send an email.... and then wonder why your billionaire, murderous, spoiled-brat preznitwit can turn the real power over to Cheney(remember the Hume Interview) and be a front conman for the Military-InfotainmentPlex. I plan to be a bit more active, doing something about my life, not just whining and blaming someone for not agreeing with me or posting something that reflects my opinion. This is not original on my part, but I believe that the little clip fest presented by David Letterman, depicting real speeches given by FDR and JFK, usually followed by one of the numerous blathering bloviations of GWB, encapsulates brilliantly how we are being led and manipulated by a moron of gigantic proportions. Just witnessing FDR regalling us with "There is nothing to fear, but FEAR itself." and JFK eloquently pronouncing "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country", demonstrates what great leadership once resembled and how their inspirational words and actions instilled pride in our country along with the earnest belief that we would overcome adversity if we did not cave into fear. Then, cut, go to any one of GWB's clown-prince performances where he fruitlessly, haplessly and, in excruciatingly painful reality -in-your-face detail, gives his moronic impersonation of a Rushmore-worthy historical figure. Then - paste, frame, and voila, the pants are down and his once larger than life cod piece covered organ is exposed as it limply hangs out, portraying our national embarrassment and his utter ineptitude, signifying America's diminishing pride. The only problem I can forsee it picking which clip to use. There's such a massive batch o'crap to choose from, it will be time consuming as well as stomach churning and surely very 'hard work'. I'm in!

If I owned a TV network I would show 'In Plane Sight' over and over so many times it would make the viewers want to puke. By the way are you going to send our comments about TV commercials along to the Democrat headquarters or just sit on them so the Republicans can steal them?

They would go head-to-head with this ABC Farce with programming that accurately depicts the lead-up to 9/11. And, perhaps Keith Olberman can convince his network to do the same. If not then perhaps the CBS News Department can put a one-hour newscast up addressing the inaccuracies of the ABC Report.

Five years out now.. time for the truth. If you won't cover those who are asking the questions, who will?

Scene One, 9-11-2001 - NTSB officials vainly searching for the parts to flight 93 in a field in Pennsylvania. The only visible deformity is a trench in the ground about 10-15 feet long. (You know they always reconstruct the plane in a giant hangar somewhere to determine what caused the crash!) They stand there scratching their heads and the small amount of debris, nothing recognizable as coming from a massive passenger airplane, eventually shrugging their shoulders and walking away. Cut to the county coroner saying, "I stopped being a coroner after 20 minutes. There are no bodies."
 

Scene Two - Flashback to Rudy Guiliana, Larry Silverstein and Marvin Bush in an exquisitely outfitted room in WTC7. They are looking at the schematics for the WTC buildings and making notes on a calendar. The year is 2000. Zoom in on a document on the table, bearing the official letterhead of the EPA, titled, "Order to Decommision the World Trade Center Towers by 2007." They finish their meeting, stand up and shake hands, and leave the room.
 

Scene Three, 9-11-2001 - Guards and office workers, covered in dust, emerge from the Lobby of WTC2 after the plane has struck, but well before its collapse. Pan the lobby with its broken glass and dislodged marble panels on the wall. Cut to the basement where a large explosion shakes the foundations of the building. Another explosion can be heard a few minutes later, higher up in the building... followed by yet another explosion. Shift camera to the building exterior, looking up the side of the building. Watch as the top part of the building explodes into dust and then follow the squibs of smoke puffing out every several floors, well in advance of the debris that is expelled upwards and sideways in a mushroom that descends. Show a clock with a second-hand, timing how long it takes the entire building to freefall down. (Elapsed time 12 seconds.)

Dear Editor, A quick reply from the Netherlands. My wife and I had the pleasure to have travelled the East coast by boat for 2 years and we had just sailed back to Europe, that horrible day of 911. That day sitting in front of the TV, I cried a lot, and that's all there is to it. My script would be a simple one. No spectacular computerized imagery, not too much real footage, but soberness all over, to respect the victims and those they left behind. Stick to the people who did it! I guess it would be sufficient to: 1) questioning the speedy (illegal!) clean-out of the CRIME-SCENE. 2) questioning the blocking of a real investigation of the crime-scene, instead screening off the place. 3) questioning the refusal and feet-dragging from the Bush gang to testify under Oath. 4) questioning the 'export' from the steel remnants save a measely few pieces, (like your country is as tiny as Holland and lack sufficient space!). 5) questioning the many military "drills" that tragic day. I guess I would try to add the truth about Osama bin laden meeting with the 9/11 hijackers. Maybe I don't recall, but I thought terrorist cells work independently. Therefore, how is it possible that bin Laden met with them to discuss the plot? There is so much misinformation. I don't know who to believe. Everytime there is an election, a new tape surfaces. So for 5 years we keep seeing tapes and getting different stories. I would like to know what is the truth. I doubt the miniseries will show anything but fiction. Just like these tapes.

It takes a determined effort to deny the fact that on 9/11 controlled demolition was used to bring down the three WTC buildings. That day, watching on TV at work , I said ,How on earth did the terrorists get into the buildings to set explosives? I didn't think it was our government , but I knew that the buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition. I think if I were to do a REAL docudrama on 911, my first scene would be the Skull & Bones guys with their initiation ritual in the coffin. And then we go to these guys where they start to discuss their plans for the New World Order.......and then from there, we see an aged Dickie Cheney on 9/11/01 putting the plan made way back then into play.... After the attack we see another scene. An angry bush screaming at cheney why he couldn't have been at the White House or Pentagon when they decided to pull it all off. Why did they send him off to a school with a bunch of kids to read a book (He already read ONE book in his life, why did they have to make him read a second)?

Let's see what on earth Sandy had in his pants and why Bush let it slide! Let's see that the GOP was as uninterested in our Nation's defence as was Bush's daddy and the Clintons.

Look at the pictures. The building came straight down. By the way, Guilliani was told to not have his office on the first/basement floor because of the building set to drop due to implosion. The current occupant of the White House, who is labeled president likes to torture people and thinks that God talks to him. If that isn't adequate evidence for criminal insanity, I don't know what is? Everything about this presidency stinks. George W. On March 21, 2003, Bush stated during a speech on T.V. after staring his pre-emptive war on Iraq with "Shock & Awe" that "We're all sinners!". Bush did drink himself into oblivion regularly and a family friend, Billy Graham, told him that "we're all sinners" and George with his phychopathic mind thinks that all he has to do to be a Christian is to "sin", which he regularly does. He makes no mention of the teachings of Jesus. His treatment for alcoholism-None. This country can only go further down with both co-president criminals still in power.

Oskie623 As a viewer of ABC's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and GREY'S ANATOMY, I want ABC to know that I will NOT be watching these shows because of the irresponsible and biased ABC "docudrama" on 911. The audience for these shows are the more liberal minded among us, not the GOP conservatives ABC corporate is courting. And so they did. They bought flight manuals and lapdances, Korans and double martinis. They took flight lessons and bad photos. But most of all they flew badly and partied and flunked flight school. "But how will we deceive NORAD," said one flunky? "And how will we get past airport security," asked another? "And how many millions should we invest in Put Options," said a third? They discovered that NORAD and the Pentagon would be having some military exercises on the exact same day they chose for their mission. Although several top US officials knew in advance not to fly that day, nobody warned any average citizen. Next the G-string jihadists outwitted the FBI. They outfoxed the Bureau's top officials by brilliantly exposing their plans to FBI field agents months in advance. The plotters seemed to know that the FBI head honchos would never believe their most patriotic field agents. Instead they would harass these agents long after the plot unfolded. Next the 19 outlined their plan. "We'll get past Israeli security at Logan airport in Boston by posing as Arab terrorists. We won't even check in or show proper credentials. We'll just go right on through, like ghosts." And so they did. But one BIG problem vexed them greatly. How exactly would steel skyscrapers, seven of them, fall down once two aluminum airplanes hit them? So they went bowling and decided that the two airplanes would be like the bowling ball and the WTC buildings would be like the pins. Still they wondered: How to make these massive towers, built with an enormous inner core to withstand 180 mph hurricanes, engineered to survive the impact of a jumbo jet, actually fall down? So the 19 flight school dropouts put their minds together and thought and thought. The Newtonian laws of gravity and physics, and the long history of burning steel skyscrapers (None had ever fallen down before--or since) seemed to be against them. "What if we make the Twin Towers pancake down," said one flunky, with a face full of buttermilk hotcake? The plotters were all eating a pre-dawn breakfast special with their bleary-eyed lapdancers. A group of Iraqi undercover agents, Saddam's finest, had joined them, savoring a short stack of blueberry pancakes. And so the laws of physics and logic waffled that day. "We can also knock down the CIA headquarters in New York City, demolish the mayor's command post, and wreck the SEC records building while we're at it, crushing the entire building while smacking the structure with a few objects the size of an I-beam" said one bright plotter, remembering his Put Options. And so they did. The mighty Pentagon was next to fall. A fortress guarded by many layers of security, the trillion dollar war toy shopping mall seemed impregnable. But not to the 19 G-string jihadists. They had discovered, by trial and error, that it was mush easier to fly a hijacked jumbo jet with screaming passengers than to control a small Cessna with a calm instructor beside them. The flew those jumbo jets like Blue Angels--except better--pulling ten G's before leveling off and smacking the Pentagon exactly where it had been recently remodeled. But unfortunately for the G-string jihadists, the Pentagon bigwigs knew months in advance. The Pentagonals even published a report with a hijacked plane exactly in the center. They knew no hijacker could ever score a bull's eye---and they were right. The flight school dropouts only hit the edge. But by outflanking, outfighting, and outthinking the combined resources of the Pentagon, CIA, NSA and FBI,, the flight school dropouts had succeeded. Sure, they never received their certification in small planes but they had outfoxed NORAD, Israeli security and the combined resources of the US Air Force in the airspace over America. And even more amazing: the 19 stripclub afficiandos had engineered their own deaths to look like deaths. Nearly half of them were still alive the next day. Call it a modern mission impossible. 19 flight school dropouts who couldn't control a Cessna had destroyed seven heavily-insured steel skyscrapers and the recently remodeled wing of the Pentagon, while outwitting airport security, smashing CIA and SEC headquarteras in a 47-story New York skyscraper they hadn't even hit, while devising a brand new scientific "pancake" theory. All while remaining alive and forcing the entire US population to live in terror, utterly taxed for the unforeseeable future, to pay for the trillions in new war toys and security measures, in a fruitless manhunt to find the alleged mastermind. In conclusion, the 19 boxcutter boyz were either the Ultimate Fighting Champions, or the the above account remains a modern fairy tale, fabricated by the very same people who placed those Put Options and demolition charges and continue to profit today. Osama being sued by the Securities Exchange Commission for insider trading when Bin Laden Ventures Inc shorted various US airlines and went long in petroleum futures just before 911. Osama, amazed that Bush was reading Camu, opens his subsequent video with "Greetings to my new existentialist buddy. How about an internets chess game?" Osama registering to vote in both Ohio and Florida.

You know there are two ways to tell lies. There are lies of commission. Bush is good at this. You can tell when he's doing this rather easily... his lips are moving. There are also lies of OMISSION. Ironically, this is what the 9/11 Commission is guilty of. For example, there is no mention of WTC 7 in the official "9/11 Commission Report". This 47 story steel and concrete building collapsed into its own foot print at 5:20 on 9/11/01. This was a huge ommission and it was done to keep people ignorant. This is the same form of lying that left-wing gatekeepers like BUZZFLASH is guilty of. I didn't bother to check, but I'm guessing there was no link to the huge article in the Washington Post this morning called "The Disbelievers". There are several films out which actually document the real events around 9-11. One that is being shared, as in 'file sharing', freely with the permission of the producers is Loose Change 2nd Edition. If you search, with a file sharing program such as Acquisition or LimeWire, you can find, download, and also help to share this important documentary. The more people that are sharing it the faster it will distribute. The more people that are informed of these and other criminal activities associated with the current administration, the more likely we are to overturn the House and Senate in November. Then real investigations of this administration become a likely possibility.

1. Bush on the WTC wreckage - only if it's suddenly turned to black and white in the way that cues you to know you're watching an actual investigative report, with the accompanying voiceover. ("But could he have prevented it? Could we have seen this coming?")

2. Bush reading "My Pet Goat." I know Michael Moore had a field day with it, but you could do something different - like bring in facial expression/body language experts to interpret Bush in that moment.

3. An "America's Most Wanted" type dramatization of the events surrounding the delivery of the 8/6/03 "Osama wants to use planes to attack the US" Presidential Daily Brief.

BONUS: You might as well add the footage of Bush flipping off a camera. Kinda sums it all up, dontcha think?

Here are my scenes for the Path to 911. Also, it now could actually be called a documentary, because my scenes all actually happened: 1. Pan out on Clinton administration folk, during the transition to the Bush admin, informing Bush and Cheney that the number one threat to the country is al Kaeda and Osama bin Laden. Zoom in closer as reams of documentation on this matter are handed over. Then, zoom in closer as Cheney shelves the information. 2. Pan out on Dumbya, on vacation as usual back then, coming into a room where a CIA briefer presents him with a PDB entitled "bin Laden determined to attack within U.S.". Zoom in on Dumbya literally kicking the guy out while saying, "OK, you've covered your ass". 3. Pan out on the smoldering twin towers. Pan in on Dumbya reading a book about a pet goat while people are jumping out of the twin towers. Then, pan in on Dumbya saying something like, "I thought, man, that's one bad pilot!". This scene could end with Dumbya flying all over the country, criss-crossing back and forth like the scared rabbit he was, literally shitting his pants while Richard Clarke is holding down the fort at the White House. May I suggest just one more scene: Pan in on Dumbya in March of 2002 saying the following about bin Laden: "I don't where he is. You know, I don't spend that much time on him. I truly am not that concerned about him". Truth is, Dumbya was never serious about bin Laden, that's why 911 happened on his watch.

First, I would show Osama bin Laden going to the Saudi Royal Family asking permission to take out Saddam Hussein when he was about to invade Kuwait in 1990. After he is rebuffed and the Americans called in instead, he heads for the hills plotting his jihad. Second, I would show the CIA targeting OBL in Afghanistan later on in the 1990s. But he is in a hunting camp with the Dubai Royal Family, and the CIA can't risk that kind of collateral damage. The CIA then gets the message to the Dubai people to step aside, and instead, they warn OBL to get out of the way. This, by the way, is the same Dubai Royal Family that Bush wants to turn over the running of our ports to. Third, I would show Dick Cheney on 9/11 cowering in his "undisclosed location" like the chickenhawk he is.

I would have to include a scene showing Bush Sr.'s breakfast meeting with Bin Laden's brother and maybe flashback to Jr's early business relationship with Salim Bin Laden.

Found on pages 140- 145, Clarke recounts Clinton Administration plans to "snatch" Osama bin Laden off the streets of Khartoum, Sudan, were he was living in the 1990s, and the Department of Defense and the CIA's reticence to carry out the request.

But in 1996 disacussion of Sudan, [National Security Advisor Sandy] Berger turned to George Tenent, asking if the CIA could snatch the man [bin Laden] in the Khartoum hotel room. Tenet responded that they had no capability to do that in that hostile environment, nor could they find a friendly intelligence service that could (or would) do it.

...To the complete frustration of Berger, [State Secretary Madeleine] Albright, and me, the CIA finally admitted it could do nothing to effect a snatch in Khartoum. DOD was only able to generate options, once again, that looked like going to war with Sudan.

...The White House wanted action. The senior military did not and made it almost impossible for the President to overcome their objections. When in 1993 the White House had leaned on the military to snatch Aideed in Somilia, they had bobbled the operation and blamed the White House in off-the-record conversations with reporters and Congressmen....Often though, we learned, senior military officers let the word spread down the ranks that the politicians in the White House were the ones reluctant to act. The fact is, President Clinton approved every snatch that he was asked to review. Every snatch CIA, Justice, or Defense proposed during my tenure as CSG chairman, from 1992 to 2001, was approved."

A series of articles suggest that at least seven of the 9/11 hijackers trained in US military bases. [New York Times, 9/15/2001; Newsweek, 9/15/2001] Ahmed Alnami, Ahmed Alghamdi, and Saeed Alghamdi even listed the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, as their permanent address on their driver’s licenses. "On the Saturday following the Tuesday attack, the Los Angeles Times broke the story in a long article on their front page.

"A defense official said two of the hijackers were former Saudi fighter pilots," reported the paper, "who had studied in exchange programs at the Defense Language School at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas and the Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama."

The story went wide the next day, Sunday, September 15th. Newsweek, the Washington Post and the Miami Herald all reported as many as seven of the terrorist hijackers in the September 11th attacks received training at secure U.S. military installations.

"Two of 19 suspects named by the FBI, Saeed Alghamdi and Ahmed Alghamdi, have the same names as men listed at a housing facility for foreign military trainees at Pensacola. Two others, Hamza Alghamdi and Ahmed Alnami, have names similar to individuals listed in public records as using the same address inside the base," the Washington Post reported.

"In addition, a man named Saeed Alghamdi graduated from the Defense Language Institute at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, while men with the same names as two other hijackers, Mohamed Atta and Abdulaziz Alomari, appear as graduates of the U.S. International Officers School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, and the Aerospace Medical School at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, respectively," the Post said."

What the Bushites have been running is nothing less than a mob-like protection racket. The GOPs campaign slogan for the last two elections has been : "Wet your pants and vote for us." This year, it seems to have gone a step futher: "Vote for us or Die." If Americans fall for this again, the only conclusion I can come to is that we are not the land of the free nor the home of the brave. People who live in fear are not free, nor brave. They are chicken-shit cowards in a prison of their own making.

I still recall with astonishment that while the footage of the towers falling was being repeated over and over and over, there was no sign of the president. Some brief nonsense of him being on Air Force One or in a secure spot somewhere just in case 'this was it.' And into the evening as the images of 9/11 were being burned into brains, still no sign of Bush. A flimsy squeak from beyond, but he was keeping safe and clear from DC. People standing in stark horror and dumbly asking "Where is the president? Why isn't Bush doing something?" Then some further nonsense that Air Force One was a target. A moment of utter disbelief. And of outrage.
