Palin Lies About Medical Records Release, Blames Media for Pregnancy Rumors

In an interview with the Anchorage Daily News, Gov. Sarah Palin is already trying to rewrite history. Palin recorded the interview with reporters from the newspaper and a local television station in her Wasilla home on Sunday.

At one point, a reporter asked Palin about the information that Alaskans had been exposed to about her in her run for vice president. Palin said she regretted the misinformation, the campaign's inability to fight misrepresentations, and the media's repetition of unsubstantiated rumors. When asked to specify, she replied:

"Some of the goofy things, like who was Trig's mom, you know.  And well [raises hand], I'm Trig's mom. And do you wanna see my medical records to prove that? And days would go by before mainstream media would even try to correct that, that yeah, OK, it's proven that she actually is Trig's mom."

Well, yeah, we would like to see those records. Thanks for the offer.

I'm no conspiracy theorist. But if you want to dispel rumors of a cover-up, you should actually release the information, not just pretend that you did.

Sure, she released a one-and-a-half-page letter from her physician, some 12 hours before polls opened, asserting that Palin is "in excellent health."

But she never released medical records. And she shouldn't make believe that she did. She also shouldn't blame the media for not clearing her name when she didn't do the one thing that could have silenced all the rumors.

Maybe the real reason she hasn't released her records is because of a damaging diagnosis of being a compulsive liar.

'Cause I'm thinkin' that while Ms. Congeniality was skippin' from college to college, the press really never got to talkin' about why it took so long for her to get a diploma. Or why she skipped from school-to-school so often. All I'm sayin' is that if it had something to do with her "right to choose", then those evangelists she pals around with may not be so hot to back her candidacy in 2012 (wink wink). History busy being re-written over at Wikipedia, too

A few folks have joined forces over at Wikipedia to keep unflattering information out of Palin's bio. Every time someone posts something about Muthee or other items they delete it and cite their "consensus" that it isn't relevant until fact-based editors get frustrated and leave. They're also butchering the Thomas Muthee article, too. If you want to make a difference, log on to Wikipedia, start putting facts on Wikipedia's Palin bio article, and when they try to delete it, flag the article as biased and petition the administrators to lock it from further editing with a warning box in the above the fold portion of the Web site that the article isn't reliable. It's something easy that folks can do.

The articles in the Alaskan papers in April 2008 make it pretty suspicious that she'd be the mom. It doesn't matter who is the mom, but she is a typical lying Repub. We've seen too many of them lie or never produce evidence to prove themselves innocent. I'm tired of them all. I really hope Andrew Sullivan gets to to the bottom of this. Not for the sensationalism, but to show she can't be trusted to hold top political positions.

As soon as I heard the well-embroidered pregnancy tale, I knew that Sarah Palin was a congenital liar who could never be trusted. I don't give a darn who gave birth to Trig. It's none of our business. I do care about a candidate who could be a heartbeat away from being my president who can't stop lying. Good riddance. And if, by some chance, the shrunken Republican Party base sees this woman as leadership material, it will be satisfying. I'll know this disasterous, malicious and viscious Republican Party is finished. Pat Williams

She is GONE. And a reappearance will bring back all of these questions. MAYBE we are done with her--- can we move on to something important..... the world.... OBAMA success.... and let the ALASKANS CLEAN UP THEIR OWN AFTERBIRTH.

A strange time line...

Most mothers i know go straight to the hospital when their water breaks. They do not: give a 30 minuet speech wearing a freshly soiled dress; they don't jump on a commercial flight for 8 hours to fly back to Alaska; they don't wait another hour so they can drive off to some back woods hospital to suddenly give birth. The country hospital was not even remotely equipped to handle a high risk pregnancy like hers. And of course the bigger mystery...where had her daughter been since she was pulled out of school several months earlier and disappeared into the woods..Mono, yeah right. Why can't Sarah FAKIN just admit that her daughter gave birth out of wedlock, if she had just said that then no one could even think that she was lying.

I have said that if someone accused me of not actually giving birth to one of my children it would take me .03 seconds to show a picture of me in the hospital with a slimy red just birthed baby. Sarah released enough pictures of her family killing things, she sure could have spent a moment showing us the baby's birth photos. When Bristol gestates that baby of hers for 11 months, what will their excuse be?

As a mother of four children, I too have hundreds of pictures of me (still in hospital gown) tiredly but proudly holding my just born baby. With Palin's recent documented history of lies I am really beginning to doubt if she is Trig's mother. She has extra incentive to lie about this considering his health coverage needs. Palin as a public employee has good group health coverage, but I don't think her health coverage extends to grandchildren.
