Gun Nut Political Gathering Organized in PA to Shoot Up Cars Representing "Liberal Ideas": Next It's Us

BuzzFlash has for ten years, and in recently ramped up commentary, warned of the violent right that is emerging in full force as a seditious domestic terrorist force. Most recently we posted an editor's blog, "Insurrection on the Potomac: The Gun Guys Go Seditious," which represents the view point that the right wing echo chamber talk of insurrection and talk of violence is to be taken as seriously as Al-Qaeda.So it's not surprising to read about a gun guy/Tea Party idea crossover event to be held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, by the ironically named "Commonwealth Foundation."   Nate Benefield, spokesman for the LiveFreePA "liberal idea" shoot down, explained:

Each candidate will speak and then take aim at the "junker" representing policy ideas such gun control, property tax, cap and trade, government-run health care, taxes and regulations on items such as tobacco and alcohol, Benefield said.

"It's just a unique way to say we're against these policies — shooting them down," he said of the idea this year to fire off bullets or shoot arrows at a vehicle. "I don't really know where we came up with it, but it seemed appropriate."

Also on hand for firing will be a cannon provided by the U.S. Armament Corps.

Maybe it sounds like a day of "fun" in Lancaster, but if they were Arabs, you can be sure the event would be closed down by a SWAT team and the Arab organizers arrested.

In case shooting up "liberal cars" interests you, "Tickets are $65 for adults and children participating in shooting or archery activities; $50 for nonparticipating adults and children 12 and older."

Oh, and the best news for wholesome families is "Children under 12 and accompanied by an adult will be admitted free." What a glorious day of families picnicking and symbolically killing liberals!   

It might be of benefit to our health and safety if we started accepting these gun nut shoot ups that target political opponents as dangerous as an Al Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan.

If we don't do so soon, it may be too late.  It may be too late already. It's not a joke; LiveFreePA feeds the flames of hatred and provides them with firepower.

This left wing liberal has guns, likes to target shoot, and belongs to the local gun club. My local gun club consists of some of the most ignorant, raciest, bigots, you have ever met, and they can't hit a bull in the ass with a banjo. They come in with cheap AR's, and blow the hell out of a target at 20 yds, and I take my high end .223 rifle, and put 20 rounds in a 1.5" circle at 125 yds. I am not too worried about these gun nuts.

4.       Does anyone recall any time in the history of the United States that there have been armed demonstrations in public places and at public events (other than national military)?

6.       Do members of the National Rifle Association and the Gun Owners of America carry weapons, concealed or open, at their conferences and conventions?

Hey, I like the idea of getting a bunch of conservatives together to shoot at cars. Too in love with their phallic substitutes to think straight, these gun nuts are likely to thin their ranks with bullets ricocheting everywhere. By the way, the U.S. Armament Corps is a private company of neo-confederates with no connection to the U.S. government or military.
