A Tea Party President? Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity Play with Political Aspirations

Cries from the far right for political upheaval often gain traction with the FOX News pundits like Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, but absent substantive or useful solutions for the situations they bemoan, will O'Reilly and Hannity offer themselves as the solutions?
Conservative blog World Net Daily certainly hopes for as much. It reported that Hannity dropped a hint of a possible run at politics as a contender rather than as a commentator. The post appeared awfully optimistic for his chances to run for president in 2012, saying Hannity "would make a formidable candidate, with the likability of Reagan, good looks and strong convictions." All that despite also reporting that Hannity's position was, "I'm not sure that's my destiny."
Hannity probably recognized the unlikelihood of his candidacy gaining enough traction to make a difference. Joseph Farah of World Net Daily tried to massage the ego of his fellow conservative all the same in the hopes of changing his stance. In his vigor to promote Hannity, Farah tried to make talk radio sound like the ideal path of an enlightened politician-to-be, saying, "He worked hard to make something of himself. He knew many lean times as he struggled to make it in the highly competitive field of talk radio." He also added, "Hannity has made many friends in his careers in radio and TV. That is important because he can be a uniter, a unifier. Every other Republican presidential candidate seeks his favor. But he begins with a constituency of millions who listen to him and watch him daily." Hannity's rampant misinformation somehow earned him that.
O'Reilly recently happened to bring on guests to his show to discuss the potential emergence of the Tea Party as a political party, and a third party might be an attractive avenue for Hannity to explore in the future given his tea partying history. However, even American Majority President Ned Ryun, leader of a group claiming to hold "candidate training" and proponents of the Tea Party, dismissed the party's viability because "the American political system is a two-party system. I don't believe that there can be three major parties." O'Reilly, too, expressed distrust of "a third party and all of that horror."
Bringing the guests on the show nonetheless lent the Tea Party some credibility to fellow conservatives. As implausible as O'Reilly and Hannity must recognize the Tea Party or a presidential run to be, the willingness to mutually stroke egos persists. With all the attention and subsequent merchandise that it brings each of them, they have much to gain by promoting ideas from the far right.
For now, both can appreciate the glamor that pretenses of political aspirations may bring them. Everyone else can choose to recognize what O'Reilly and Hannity know -- that they are not the answer for the right, much less the country. If what they say is just for their shows, everyone else may as well choose to Turn Off FOX.

Another Political Party?
I don't like the idea, but the Dems/Reps aren't letting in anyone new or from the outside so it may be needed. It's either another party or revolution cause the people aren't going to take any more.
There's a new book that's about the 2nd American Revolution & how a small town stands up to federal tyranny & starts the revolution. Could be my town or your town, but it's a powerful read for anyone who wants to know what the near future is about to bring. Great read.

They claim to be fighting FOR America, but unless it is an America that is a right-wing, fundamentalist White Christian country, they will do anything they can to tear the country down and turn America into a fascist country, where the rich can do whatever they want, where the corporations can rule and do whatever they want and where the poor must fend for themselves...because the only reason they're poor is because they are lazy, so they say, or else they just didn't happen to be smart enough to inherit a fortune like most of the right-wing pudits and politicians did.
