When the President Speaks, Reason Listens. Fox, Obviously, Does Not.

In another victory for journalistic integrity and reason, Fox News lost yet another couple of viewers thanks to a simple dialogue between a thoughtful reader, her daughter, and her formerly Fox-viewing parents. When Fox News ignores a speech from the president as the other major media outlets cover it live, people start to get suspicious, and soon afterward, they change the channel.
Want some proof? Here's an e-mail we received from a member of our BuzzFlash "TurnOffFox Campaign" brigade:
Wow! Fox News lost my parents today! My 17-year-old daughter and I were at my parents’ today for lunch. My parents were Fox News watchers. My daughter wanted to see the Obama speech in Minnesota and my daughter pointed out to them that Fox News was terrified to carry the speech today for fear people would find out how they lie! She showed them the speech was on both MSNBC and CNN. After pointing out a few things like Hannity saying Obama called insurance people BAD PEOPLE, my daughter made the sale! My parents are no longer Fox News watchers!

how can I turn off FOX
when I never turn it on? It's true: one of my TVs has never been turned to that channel. And in that respect I have vowed it will remain a virgin.
