by Chad Rubel
Barack Obama has called for this day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, to be a Day of Service. While a lot of us have to work, a lot of people do have the day off along with their children.
So despite the hoopla and excitement that currently fill our lives getting ready for tomorrow's festivities, there are people hurting in our society. There are areas that need fixing.
There is a lot to do that would require a year of service. But we do have a day of service, and that's a start.
So what are you going to do today for the day of service? And if you are at work, or otherwise can't physically participate, what would you do if you had a day of service.
How would you use the day to better your neighborhood, your city, your state, your country?

My service
There are things I do every day of my life to be in service to others. It has been my creed for 50 years.
There comes a time when younger ones should do this too.
It is a good rewarding thing. To help one another.

I would just love to do
